ABBA has changed the world with the sound of their love and we have all been touched by their amazing talent and messages of peace and unity.
In the song ‘One Man, One Woman’, ABBA describes a marriage on the rocks and how hopeless one can feel while hoping for better days. An emotional rift is growing wider and the only solution is to change things up and reawaken their love for each other. They’re two friends and two true lovers that are dedicated no matter what.
Even though both ABBA marriages ended in divorce, I am so glad they wrote a song about the struggles they were going through before it ended. It’s such a beautiful ode to what marriage is all about: Growing and changing as a unit and enduring hardship and looking to eachother for strength because it’s a chance that never comes back again.

As a quiet student of easy listening and soft rock with less talk, I have not lent an eager to classic smooth jazz. I think this may be considered bossa-nova, but perhaps not because of the region it from. I don’t care to do any research to shorten this sentence so I will end it here. However, the song in question is Viva Tirado by Gerald Wilson. I heard it while driving in my 4 door, 4 cylinder motor vehicle one day after work. Quite jazzy even to someone who avoids jazz at all cost. I’m In’to Th’is !

Uhhh..! Finally! More world music on the mainstream radio. I mean this song by Edward Maya and Vika is really catchy. It’s real music I can shop to. I imagine prices being slashed and everything I try on in the dressing room fitting me to perfection. If this song was played during my next shopping trip, my visa card would be uninhibited and my spirit would be taken away to the sunny coasts of Greece. Let’s daydream !

ALfALFA -I’m in the mood for love. Little Rascals
I‘m in the mood for love is such a great song. Many of the most popular song of the past that were covered over and over again have been out of loop with today’s time. A song like this should be remade. Songs about true love are really rare in today’s Top 40 and it would be refreshing to hear classics such as this revived.
Movies, books and television shows from the past are relentlessly reproduced in poor quality. I think what is going on in film should stop and let music take it’s turn in retelling stories of jazz greats, and smooth jams from the rhythm and blues masters as well as other genres. Maybe the tides are already turnings in this direction…

Feels so good going into your ears. So sleekly distorted and uber stoned, it goes perfectly into the e-pods the kids are carrying around in their totes these days.
The lyrics don’t matter but we all appreciate the effort. The distance adds to the effect. Quite effective.

I know he beat up Rihanna. Yeah, yea yea. I know he’s a douche in his own right. I know it was weird when he was crying at that award show, while doing a Micheal Jackson tribute, but…
I really like Chris Brown’s new single Deuces. He dances freestyle-hiphop really well in the video. People think the song’s about Rihanna, but they’re dumb because Chris didn’t write the lyrics. The fact is, Chris Brown has so much more talent than Rihanna it hurts people to think of how far he’s going to go without her. Honestly, there are only so many hair styles and hair colors that one can have done until people realized that there was never any true talent beneath the spectacle. Sorry, Rih.

Yelle’s remixed dance track ‘Ce Jeu’ by The Twelves has been stuck in my head for a couple weeks but I haven’t gotten around to listening to it. The Twelves are from Rio I believe and they’ve done lots of great remixes.
I’ve also had that cute Hellogoodbye song called ‘I Saw It On Your Keyboard ‘in my head and I’m so glad they popped into thought. They are such a sweet band without a hint of pretension.
